DESCRIPTION:Hanover Township Recreation invites residents and the surrounding community to join us for our annual Patriotic Celebration on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Hanover Township Municipal Campus. The rain date for the event is Thursday, July 2, 2026.  Please visit Patriotic Celebration for detailed information regarding food trucks, activities, transportation, parking and more. This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary and Hanover Township’s 350th Anniversary, making this a truly historic and memorable evening for the community. These anniversaries will be marked by a parade of Colonial reenactors headlined by General George Washington and General Rochambeau on horseback. The procession steps off at 6:30 PM, so make sure to get there early! The event will feature a wide variety of family-friendly activities including food trucks, live music, face painting, a balloon artist, games, and fireworks. Live entertainment will be provided by The Heart of Gold Band, offering music throughout the evening leading up to the fireworks finale. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and come out for an evening of community pride, celebration, and entertainment for all ages.\n
