About Our Program
Join the Morris County Economic Development Alliance & Tourism Bureau in partnership with the Morris County 250th Celebration Committee for our first 250th Networking Breakfast at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, 100 South St., Morristown, NJ 07960 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on June 6th.
We invite you to be part of our first 250th Networking Breakfast, a unique opportunity to connect with fellow local business leaders, downtown organizations, and professionals from the hospitality and tourism sectors as we look ahead to the 250th Anniversary of our Nation in 2026. This event is designed to spark collaboration, build regional momentum, and celebrate community pride. Attendees will learn about exciting plans and signature events that showcase Morris County’s rich history, while also exploring meaningful ways to engage, support, and benefit from the increased visibility and economic activity this milestone celebration will bring.

- 8:30 AM – Check-In & Light Breakfast Available
- 9:00 AM – Welcome Note, Venue & Sponsor Spotlight
- Sarah Neibart, Executive Director of Morris County’s 250th Celebrations
- Ed Kirchdoerffer, Chief Operating Officer, Mayo Performing Arts Center
- 9:15 AM – Featured Speaker, Carrie Fellows, Executive Director, Crossroads of the American Revolution
- Carrie will provide an important statewide update on New Jersey’s planning and programming efforts for the 250th Anniversary of our Nation and share information on how local businesses and communities can get involved.
- 9:45 AM – Featured Speakers, Wendy York & Carol Barkin, Co-Chairs of the Bicentennial Committee of Lafayette’s Farewell Tour for Morristown
- Wendy & Carol will offer a preview of the exciting events taking place in July 2025 for Lafayette’s Farewell Tour to Morristown.
In 1825, Lafayette visited Morristown on July 14, Bastille Day, and now 200 years later he will return to Morristown on July 13, 2025 and July 14, 2025. - 10:00 AM – Optional MPAC Backstage Tour & Open Networking
