The festival begins Friday, October 10, at the Mayo Performing Arts Center with a special Keynote Event. Two-time Pulitzer Prize–winning historian Rick Atkinson headlines, discussing his #1 New York Times bestseller The Fate of the Day.
On Saturday, October 11, the celebration continues with the free Main Festival and family-friendly KidFest activities. More than 100 bestselling and award-winning authors share their stories across five walkable venues along South Street. Attendees can enjoy intimate author talks, lively discussions, and book signings with some of today’s most celebrated writers.
Families will love KidFest, featuring exciting activities, engaging storytellers, and interactive experiences designed for young readers.
