Remembering the American Revolution

Mark Twain once said, “Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.” How do you remember the founding of our country? In this lecture, we look at the people and the events, including Paul Revere’s ride, Benedict Arnold (from triumph to treason), the duel (Hamilton v. Burr), the painting Washington Crossing the Delaware, to see if our collective memory is the truth or a good story. No registration required; however, seating is first-come, first-seated
