About the Presenter: Joel Farkas is a retired volunteer docent and tour guide for the National Park Service at Washington’s Headquarters in Morristown. He lectures on the Revolutionary War and the Founding Of Our Country. He hopes to motivate you to learn more about the founding of our country — the extraordinary people, and the sacrifices they made, that resulted in the country we live in today. Joel is a graduate of Ohio State, and was an officer in the United States Army. As a volunteer docent for the National Park Service at Washington’s Headquarters, he was a recipient of the National Park Service Centennial Volunteer Challenge Award. He also collects original historical autographs and is an enrichment lecturer for America Cruise Lines.
